Responsibilities
• Assist students and staff at the Cashier's window, on the telephone, and via email• Process student payments, department (non-student) deposits, and scholarship checks• Review and update processes and procedures for the Cashier's Office• Open and close the Cashier's Office each day
Requirements
• Associate's degree in business administration or relevant experience• Banking or cashiering experience• Knowledge and skills in cash management• Knowledge of basic accounting principles• Good analytical skills and ability to solve problems with data• Proficient in using computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel• Ability to direct telephone calls, emails, and assist students and staff in a professional manner• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment• Positive work ethic and strong communication skills• Collaborative work with team members• Excellent organizational and time management skills• Willingness to participate in professional development workshops and training• Preferred: Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft software
