This position includes a good balance of administrative tasks and analytics that can make a real impact. Must have a strong understanding of basic financial principles, thorough attention to detail, self-motivation, customer service skills, and a strong understanding of common industry software including financial tracking applications like Triumph, Google Docs, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite. Ready to make an impact in the freight brokerage industry? Apply today. This position is on-site, and applicants must be available to work in the Wixom office as early as 7 AM.Responsibilities:• KPI tracking for executives, including goal setting and incentive programs• Analyzing data to evaluate carriers, shippers, and internal operations• Preparation and maintenance of audit documents for accuracy both operationally and contractually• Forecasting future outcomes using statistics and equations and aid in key decision-making• Creating visual data representations for effective communication of that data to key decision-makers• Monitoring budgets and processing credit card payments• Maintaining and organizing client billing requirements and contract files• Assisting in payroll management and commission reporting• Banking, deposits, and weekly bill payment• Assisting in payroll management and process - calculating and tracking commissions, bonuses, and incentives, while preparing summaries for the payroll department • Tracking truck repair expenses, looking for duplications and discrepancies, and finding repair facilities to meet the organization's needs• Other financial and accounting administrative duties as the need arisesQualifications:• 2+ years of experience in financial administration or equivalent roles• High level of computer literacy and knowledge of financial IT systems (Quickbooks not required)• Strong understanding of numerical and financial concepts• Professional experience in general administrative and financial tasks• Keeping organized with methodical attention to detail & accuracy• Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing are needed to interface with operating locations, internal functional departments, and clients• Work independently with flexibility and self-motivation• Prioritize workloads and deadlines• Professional, confident, and customer-sensitive when making calls for collections• Ability to work with complete confidentiality• Ability to prioritize workloads and deadlines• Collections experience is a plus but not Must be able to work onsite at our Wixom locationAbout Company: Welcome to Quality Freight Logistics (QFL), an industry-leading provider of unique supply chain solutions that deliver beyond client expectations.
