Financial Reporting Analyst

Will report to the Senior Controlling Manager Hybrid working in office 2-3 days/week Troy North American HQ Opportunity for growth and promotion Excellent Benefits Willingness to travel 20-50% Primary Responsibilities: Perform data analysis, review and consolidation of a variety of reports. Monitor, review and distribute daily cost tracker. Compile and consolidate weekly and monthly forecasts. Complete month end financial package reporting requirements. Complete ad-hoc monthly reporting as support for various meetings for review. Review and report daily TIS information. Assist with review of tool and capital cash tracking. Any other reasonable request made by management
Exercises judgement re: Ability to investigate discrepancies related to various reports and reconciliations. Accountability in areas of: Accuracy of reports & data produced, Reconciliations prepared, Meeting month end deadlines Establishes/maintains relationships: Plant & Corporate Finance team & Operations team Required Qualifications: Must have 4+ years of relatable working experience as outlined in the above responsibilities Minimum 2+ year relevant work experience from automotive industry employed by a Tier 1 automotive company  Strong data analysis experience including uploading and downloading data, manipulating data Enthusiastic attitude and desire to grow and learn Ability to pay attention to details & passion for learning Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to deal with conflict Ability to organize workload to maximize efficiencies Good use of problem solving and decision-making skills Excellent computer skills (SAP (or similar), MS Excel, MS Office) Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
