The MC3-Curtis Learning Finance Team is searching for an FP&A Senior Manager to work with the CFO & business to grow the company to its full potential. The right candidate thinks strategically and analytically, is intrigued by how the business works, and partners well with business colleagues to drive growth and efficiency.
Role Overview The Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Manager will build the foundation for measuring business health, will partner with the business to leverage that information, and will take the current planning processes to the next level. This is a high-impact, collaborative, versatile, and visible role. This person will be an integral member of the FLT (Finance Leadership Team), together with the Controller and CFO. The FLT will lead the FInance function and advise the CEO and Business Unit Heads on financial matters. This role has room for personal and professional growth as the Company grows. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in the West Chester office.
Core Responsibilities: Lead the organization's FP&A function and is responsible for all budgeting, planning, management reporting, and driving strategic insights for the business. This position requires an in-depth understanding of the organization's objectives and M&A plans Develop and implement efficient, agile, and scalable FP&A processes and procedures to drive informed decision-making for the Leadership Team and Project Leads; facilitate reporting, forecasting, board materials, and strategic planning; reporting, and analysis to highlight trends and drivers of variances to facilitate effective management of the business; help ensure spending and forecasting discipline as the company continues to grow to facilitate effective management of the business; help ensure spending and forecasting discipline as the company continues to scale Collaborate with accounting team members to support the monthly close process as it pertains to operating revenue and expense management, general ledger reviews, headcount reviews, accruals, and other related processes. Along with our Controller, partner effectively with senior management to manage budget Prepare financial analysis supporting investment decisions and M&A transactions, including building NPV models Succinctly provide insightful analysis to non-finance business leaders; deliver consolidations, analyses, and outputs that clearly communicate key trends, variances to plan, future drivers, and opportunities and risks, leveraging and demonstrating a strong command of the business and its key performance drivers Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA strongly preferred; CPA a plus 8+ years' of progressive experience and demonstrated growth including 5+ years in Finance/FP&A Experience in a service-based business, preferably people-based Strong business partnership skills: ability to build rapport and credibility and to effectively manage expectations across stakeholders Experience with Microsoft Business Central a plus Business savvy and financial acumen: technical knowledge on analytics, business foresight, problem-solving skills and ability to translate ambiguity to clarity Outstanding knowledge of Excel, financial modeling, data reporting systems Ability to act independently and proactively in a dynamic and rapid growth environment Hybrid work environment to include working in the office 3x per week Soft Skills : Strong analytical thinker and sense of urgency; detail-oriented and strong organizational skills; strong ability to problem solve; excellent communications skills; ability to effectively interact with multiple disciplines/departments; strong project management skills; ability to influence other Here at MC3-Curtis Learning, we strive to provide our employees with the means to be successful in all their day-to-day responsibilities.
