This role is critical in supporting our strategic decision-making processes through detailed financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of empathy and analytical expertise to the role, ensuring financial practices that align with our values of care and compassion.
Responsibilities: Lead and manage the annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-range financial planning with a focus on operational efficiency and cost management. Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and potential expansion projects. Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals. Collaborate with department heads to assess financial efficacy of program operations and establish finance and administrative systems to support program operations. Implement robust financial reporting systems and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Conduct ad-hoc analyses to determine potential operational vulnerabilities and recommend cost-effective solutions. 7+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree or professional certification (CPA) is preferred. 1 year+ experience in leadership and people management experience with multiple direct reports and proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members. Strong proficiency with financial modeling and data analysis tools, including advanced Excel skills. HPSSC
