Job Title : Financial Planner

Type : Fulltime, direct hire
Must be a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). The Role: Client Review meetings: Preparation of meeting agendas, take notes during the client meeting and complete all follow up items from client review meetings. New Client Onboarding: Assist with the generation of financial plan for new clients along with taking notes in all meetings, generating new account paperwork and tracking incoming transfers. Investment/Portfolio Management: Become proficient in executing trades on the Fidelity platform and handling money movement requests. Client Services: Promptly respond to client needs. Assist with account maintenance, quarterly billing, and coordination of client meetings. Team Participation: We are a small organization and encourage open dialogue and brainstorming so you must enjoy working in a team environment. Desired Background, Skills & Attributes: Entrepreneurial minded individuals attracted to future partnership or equity opportunity 4-year degree in finance or related field and have, or are working toward, an additional credential such as CFP , CPA or CFA 2-8 Years in the financial advisory industry or related field Comfortable using or learning to use various softwares, including a CRM (Wealthbox), Financial Planning (eMoney), Custodial Platforms (Fidelity), Performance Reporting (Tamarac), etc Ensure prospects and clients experience first class client service and feel confident that you have their best interest at heart Unquestioned integrity in personal and professional activities Highly motivated, adaptable and intellectually stimulated Comfortable interacting with clients in person and via phone/email Team oriented and comfortable wearing many hats in a growing organization Compensation and Benefits: Salaried position commensurate with experience and credentials along with an annual bonus of up to 10% of your salary Opportunity to grow into an equity partner over time 401(k) with a 4% company match Group Life and Disability coverage Financial assistance as it relates to securing Health Insurance coverage Company paid professional dues and continuing education Mentorship
