About the Role:
We're seeking a highly motivated Operations Associate to join our Financial Operations team. In this role, you'll engage with diverse stakeholders, including our largest clients, trading desks, investor relations, financial and management reporting teams, counterparties, and internal software development groups. You'll collaborate across our international offices and have the opportunity to work on special projects, ranging from historical analyses for new fund launches to metrics analysis and investigation of pricing volatility.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the accuracy of Profit & Loss statements
- Conduct month-end trade accounting
- Perform trade settlements and investigate breaks
- Process lifecycle events
- Contribute to industry and regulatory initiatives
- Assist with deal funding, structuring, and analysis, including wire movements
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of trade support experience in hedge funds, investment management, or financial services
- Experience with settlements, reconciliations, and accounting preferred, along with exposure to loans, private securities, and fixed-income securities
- Strong quantitative, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proactive self-starter with meticulous attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, including senior management and external counterparts
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, business, or mathematics
Compensation & Benefits:
The expected annual base salary for this position is $110,000 - $130,000, with a compensation package that includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, medical and prescription drug coverage, 401k contribution matching, and other benefits. The final salary will be determined based on factors such as prior experience and educational background.
