Full job description (Description) A large insurance company is currently hiring for a fully remote Operational Analyst. This role is responsible for processing partner compensation, analyzing financial data, auditing, system testing & troubleshooting, and resolving escalations.
Pay: $30/hr. - $35/hr. (depending on years of experience, relevant financial & operational analytical experience, degree, technical / IT cross-functional experience...etc.)
Location: 100% Remote
Shift: Standard Morning Shift (Monday - Friday) - Local time zone where candidates are based out in is fine
6 Month Contract-To-Hire (Key Responsibilities) Expected to exceed customer expectations and go the extra mile. Expertise in addressing challenging circumstances. Willingness to be trained on company specifics and the drive to grow with the company. Self-motivated data specialist who brings technical skillsets in Excel, Access, SQL, and ability to pick up new tools and process. Comfortable with manipulating data sets and condensing data into cohesive information. Ability to navigate through multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy and interpret and apply varied and complex rules. Developing queries to retrieve and analyzed data used in management processes, reporting and problem solving on multiple SQL-based platforms. Detail oriented, communicative and possesses a high level of written and verbal communication skills. Proven experience working cross-functionally to support business initiatives and effectively communicating with internal and external partners. Proven experience interacting with Executives and communicating information to external and internal stakeholders. Ability to build good rapport over the phone, email and establish positive relationships with sales leaders. Bachelor of Science or Business Administration in Economics, Finance and or IT (preferred not required) (Day To Day) Days will look different every day. Supporting any projects the team will be working on. There will be a lot of processing and variety of work tasks. Could be working on projects and move onto working on systems. Troubleshooting: Will be working with the IT team for troubleshooting issues. Not a testing environment so this individual will need to be very detail oriented and can follow processes. Will be responsible for figuring out findings to bring back to the IT team. Will be working with sales leaders as well. Needing great balance of technical and business knowledge. (Job Requirements) ***Most ideal candidate will have a balance of experience in Operations, Sales, Finance & Accounting, and experience working heavily with the IT department*** Company is looking for someone that is not too tech/IT focused, but a balance of operational experience Must be proficient with SQL and data manipulation & working with / developing queries (non-negotiable) Must have 2-4+ years of relevant Data Analyst experience (non-negotiable) Must be technical and have experience partnering with the IT department cross-functionally (non-negotiable) Must have direct experience, degree, or heavy involvement with Accounting & Finance field (non-negotiable) Must have operational experience (non-negotiable) Bachelor's Degree highly preferred (Employee Value Proposition) This company has been voted as a top place to work year over year Company culture is top tier Compensation is tied to the Colorado and Washington markets for jobs performed in Colorado and Washington.
