Explore your future and launch your career today. Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for a Financial Analyst to support our Chandler, AZ location.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Active participation in program Earned Value in compliance to CPR/IPMR data reporting requirements; including preparation of earned value deliverables ensuring compliance, timeliness and accuracy
Supporting baseline efforts, and Initial Baseline Reviews (IBR's) with customers
Preparing EACs to include earned value analysis, hands-on EAC updates, and revisions
Supporting the monthly financial forecasting process to include analysis and recommendations on awards, sales, operating margin, and cash
Preparation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts
Internal and External support of compliance audits
Supporting pricing and proposal activities
Cash Management to ensure timely invoicing and collections
Collaborating with cross-functional partners including Operations, Engineering and Program Management
Promoting the professional development of the business management workforce, fostering a collaborative culture that sustains the momentum around ethics and integrity, employee engagement, affordability, innovation, value growth, and continuous improvement
Maintaining the highest level of commitment to quality, compliance and internal controls in adherence to company values and ethics
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control - OR - Master's degree with 1+ year of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control
An additional 4+ years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degree
Expertise with Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Earned Value (EVM) and financial reporting on a variety of contract types
Experience in the aerospace and defense industry
Familiarity of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR
Salary Range: $60,600 USD - $90,800 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
