This position will be responsible for data mining, report development, and financial analysis used to service the mortgage and condo portfolios of Capital Management. It entails close collaboration with the leadership of the department, as well as interdepartmental collaboration. This role requires a mix of recurring reports, ad-hoc requests and projects, along with an expectation to lead development of new reports. Previous knowledge of forecasting and trend analysis is preferred for this role as maintaining and creating forecasts is critical for this role. A candidate must demonstrate self-management skills and be detail oriented. They must be a strong problem solver with strong collaboration skills and be able to learn quickly and perform at a fast pace.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Responsible for the development and maintenance of department's monthly reporting through use of financial modeling and analysis. Including mortgage portfolio roll forwards and operational forecasts.
Creation of monthly goals and forecasts for the department's operations. Proactively develop and implement techniques and tools to improve current processes.
Ownership of one or more billing processes related to our condo portfolio.
Independently manage implementation and documentation of special and new projects as needed.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with all business partners.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related business area required.
3+ years of financial analysis experience, strong knowledge of FP&A functions is a plus
Timeshare /Hospitality industry experience a plus
Intermediate knowledge of financial analysis, modeling and reporting.
Proficient PowerBI, Microsoft Excel, or SQL knowledge
Excellent communication and presentation skills, effective time management.
Strong analytical skills and pro activeness, ability to formulate and present solutions as it relates to business objectives.
Demonstrates self-management skills
Capacity to work effectively and efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously
Must work well in a fast-paced changing environment
Must be willing to work in a team oriented and dynamic environment
