Financial Analyst, FP&A Reston, VA
We are seeking a Financial Analyst, FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis), to work primarily out of our Reston, Virginia headquarters. The candidate should be able to work independently, while still collaborating frequently with the CFO.

Job DescriptionThe Financial Analyst, FP&A, would primarily be performing financial planning and analysis of the company, allowing the organization to make well-informed business decisions.
In collaboration with the CFO, the Financial Analyst, FP&A, would help determine the best use of resources to achieve business objectives. They will be expected to produce regular reports and analyses using operational and financial data as well as develop various KPIs and SaaS metrics to monitor business performance and drive efficient decision-making across various functions.

Responsibilities and Duties:Assist CFO and management with important financial decisions by analyzing overall business performance and providing insights to improve performanceSupport preparation of financial documents, such as monthly management reports, financial forecasts, cost center reporting, and develop and maintain the company's KPIs with high qualityMonitor a company's financial and operational reports and determine ways to improve business performance and scalabilityAnalyze current and past financial data, SaaS metrics, and KPIsLook at current financial performance and identify trendsPrepare reports based on the available information and SaaS metrics, and communicate those insights to the CFO and other company executivesSuggest budgets and improvements as part of the company's planning and budgeting processAnalyze and explore different investment proposalsDevelop financial models and help build financial forecastsDevelop initiatives that improve financial performance and the company's value creationParticipate in systems development initiatives, related to ERP implementation, CRM, and Business intelligence improvement Qualifications, Skills, and Past ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance or Economics4-6 years of relevant work experience in the field(s) of FP&A, Financial Analysis, Financial ManagementExperience working in a similar role at a SaaS (software-as-a-service) companyExpertise in Quickbooks/NetsuiteExperience creating financial reports based on SaaS sales metrics, Business Intelligence (BI), and industry trendsExcellent communication skillsExperience working for a small-midsized business is highly preferred Company CultureThe Cloudpermit team is comprised of highly motivated, positive, and technologically savvy team members.
