Job Summary:
Are you passionate about helping patients navigate their financial responsibilities with ease? Join our team as a Financial Advisor, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring patients understand their billing information and are equipped to manage their financial obligations. Your responsibilities will include establishing estimates for scheduled medical services or procedures, working with patients to create payment schedules, and collecting prepayments in accordance with company policy. Additionally, you'll collaborate with various departments system-wide to deliver excellent care and customer service to our patients.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience:
- Preferred: Medical billing experience and claims processing knowledge; familiarity with the insurance industry and collection process
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude
- Proficient in using computers and computer systems
- Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
