Job Summary Our client is looking for a Financial/Accounting Analyst who will be responsible for volumetric allocations directly impacting revenue related to financial accounting for the company and the accuracy of volumetric and quality measurements of the hydrocarbons produced.
Responsible for volumetric allocations directly impacting revenue related to financial accounting for the company Responsible for the accuracy of volumetric and quality measurements of the hydrocarbons produced. Responsible for allocating volumes back to the source of production while maintaining allocation system setups in accordance with physical configurations, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements. Work closely with the field and local Midland production accounting team Work closely with Data Control and Royalty Compliance teams to review production allocation networks and monthly allocations to ensure regulatory reporting deadlines are met and allocations adhere to state and federal reporting requirements. Skills Required Delivers reliable results through realistic planning to accomplish goals while maintaining a positive attitude 1+ years experience with Microsoft Office Suite products such as Excel and Outlook 3+ years of experience in oil & gas or energy-related industry 1+ years experience with understanding and interpretation of production and revenue accounting policies, regulations, and reporting requirements 1+ years experience with Production systems including SAP PRA & Avocet Ability to multitask and prioritize Experience seeking and finding new ways to resolve difficult issues effectively Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical Listens actively and invites new ideas for exchanged opinions, then influences and acts to drive positive performance and achieve result Education/Training/Certifications Associates degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Math, or other analytical discipline or foreign equivalent Benefits of working as a Financial/Accounting Analyst IV in Job, WV:
