Finance Intern

As an Intern on our Accounts Payable team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial operations and contribute to the efficiency of our payment processes. You will work closely with our Accounts Payable Specialists and assist in various tasks related to vendor payments, invoice processing, and reconciliations
Assist in the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate authorization. Input invoice data into the accounting system and reconcile discrepancies as needed. Communicate with vendors to resolve any billing issues or discrepancies. Evaluate completed new supplier forms and ensure supplier setups in Oracle are accurate. Work with internal Buyers and Receiving Team to drive issue resolution to ensure invoices are paid on time. Support month-end closing activities by preparing accruals and reconciling accounts payable balances. Collaborate with other members of the Finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Assist in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by the Manager or Accounts Payable Team Lead Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, Finance, Accounting preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling large volumes of data. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, other basic accounting software is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
