This position is ideal for a professional who is skilled in navigating the complexities of automotive financing and insurance, while also possessing strong sales leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in working with subprime lenders and customers, demonstrating an ability to secure financing for a diverse range of credit profiles.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the F&I process, including securing financing approvals, selling aftermarket products, and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements. Develop and maintain relationships with a network of lenders, particularly those specializing in subprime lending. Work closely with the sales team to drive vehicle sales, providing coaching and support to enhance performance. Implement strategies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction in both the F&I and sales departments. Conduct regular training sessions for sales staff on financing options, sales techniques, and compliance standards. Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding financing and vehicle purchases, ensuring a high level of customer service. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in an F&I role within the automotive industry, with additional experience in sales management preferred. Strong understanding of automotive financing and insurance products, with specific expertise in working with subprime lenders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with customers and team members. Proficient in various dealership management systems and software. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a track record of achieving sales and financial targets. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field is preferred, but not required.
