Responsibilities
• Manage month-end close procedures and produce journal entries.• Oversee day-to-day finance operations and support.• Maintain control of general ledger, accounts payable, and payroll.• Prepare budget variance and forecast reports.• Lead annual audits and 990 processes.• Provide training on financial systems.• Maintain internal controls and financial policies.• Supervise accounting staff.• Review and approve grant trackers and schedules.• Troubleshoot timesheets and expense reporting issues.
Requirements
• Experience in finance and accounting with non-profit organizations.• Strong people and project management skills.• Excellent communication and time management skills.• Ability to make complex decisions and collaborate globally.• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.• 7 years of finance and accounting experience.• Experience with Sage Intacct and payroll operations is a plus.• Passion for GFC's mission and values.
