Finance & Administration - Lead Location Las Vegas, NV (Paradise area) : Position Overview: As a Lead of Finance and Administration at Gigawatt Operations Inc dba Sol-up and its Subsidiaries , you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance and administrative operations. This position requires a mix of accounting and finance knowledge and administrative skills to ensure smooth and efficient business operations. You will assist with finance tasks, financial record-keeping, and administrative duties, contributing to our mission of promoting sustainable energy solutions.
Essential Job Duties: Primarily assist the CFO with day-to-day finance, accounting and administrative operations. Prepare the management daily cash and forecast report. Closely work with outsourced accounts payable to monitor status of bills, communicate any urgent requests, liaise status of payments to vendors. Enter and submit referral vouchers for payment to referees in Ramp. Collects and upload weekly all RAMP invoices and supporting documents for the Ramp card transactions of the CFO, CSO, COO and CEO. Process vendor payments for in house checks and portal payments approved by the CFO and COO. Manage and monitors all auto pays and auto debit transactions such as for leases, rents and utilities. Maintain a centralized, digital repository of all utilities, manage and coordinate with outsourced accounts payable for payments, and facilitate vendor communications. Maintain a centralized, digital repository of all IT software and other dues and subscriptions, manage and coordinate with outsourced accounts payable for payments, and facilitate vendor communications. Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth operation of business activities. Liaise with external/outsourced accounting team to ensure accurate accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and financial reporting. Maintain a centralized, digital repository of all taxes, permits and licenses, manage and files business taxes, permits and licenses, including ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Maintain a centralized, digital repository of all lease agreements, manage and coordinate with outsourced accounts payable for payments, and facilitate tenant communications. Maintain a centralized, digital repository of all insurances, manage and coordinate with outsourced accounts payable for payments, and facilitate communications with insurance providers. Prepare and maintain financial documentations and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Assist the CFO in implementing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance. Facilitate efficient office administration, including managing office supplies and asset management: maintaining records of leasehold improvements, furniture and fixtures, including retirement of any assets. Prepares 1099 annually and ensures accuracy of filing. Assist in the annual audit preparations, SEC filings and other regulatory agencies. Perform other related duties as assigned by the CFO to support the finance and administration team. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial management and administration, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of managing financial operations, budgeting, and strategic planning. Experience in compliance, risk management, and financial reporting. Ability to foster a collaborative team environment and work effectively across departments. Knowledge of legal financial requirements and tax laws. Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in financial software, accounting systems, and Excel. Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Efficient time management to ensure tasks are completed within set timeframes. Reliable attendance and transportation to work location. Authorized to work in the United States. Working Conditions: This position is office-based with standard working hours but may require additional hours during busy periods such as month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting. Travel may be required (if needed). Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
