Job summary
The Finance/Accounting Coordinator is responsible for post-award management and administration of grants and contracts.They ensure accurate reporting and compliance with regulations and University policies.The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to apply policies and procedures to real-world situations.

Responsibilities
• Manage the financial aspects of faculty accounts• Ensure resources are well managed and accurately reported• Comply with federal and state regulations and University policies and procedures• Coordinate multiple projects and deadlines• Be a team player• Be adaptable, flexible, and able to handle a high volume of work• Prepare financial reports and budgets• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing• Work in a diverse environment• Handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and tact
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in a similar position• OR Associate's degree and 4 years of experience in a similar position• OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in a similar position• Knowledge of University policies and procedures and external funding source guidelines• Highly motivated and a team-oriented individual• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and financial tools• Quantitative skills and experience in financial report and budget preparation• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
