The Field Test Coordinator will work with systems engineers, program managers, and technical subject matter experts to plan and execute technology demonstration, system development testing, operational testing, operational assessment, and other T&E related activities.
Performing operational test execution, pre-test coordination with all stakeholders in support of the execution of the planned test event. Supporting the development of the pre-test briefing to support stakeholder alignment in execution preparations. Collecting and documenting test data in accordance with approved procedures and the signed OT&E Test Plan and conducting post-test activities as required. Supporting the planning, execution, data collection, and reporting of technology demonstrations, system acceptance tests, and other technology and/or systems evaluation and assessment efforts Supporting the development of engineering plans and artifacts including:
Testing and Evaluation Gate Reviews (TEGR) Test case / scenario designs Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) Participating in T&E IPTs and/or work groups Bachelor's degree in related field with 3-10 years of experience or master's degree in related field with 2 years of experience or PhD; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field. Experience in supporting T&E strategy and plans in support of large, complex programs. Some knowledge of DHS and/or DoD acquisition life cycle framework and systems engineering life cycle framework Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills, communication skills, and leadership skills Self-motivated, proactive, independent performer who can perform well in a collaborative, team environment. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capabilities. Must exemplify a dedication to achieving the mission of the customer as well as high standards of quality and excellence in performing individual duties. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred.
