RESPONSIBILITIES The responsibilities of our Field Service Engineer include, but are not limited to:
Install, startup, and train users on automation equipment for seamless integration Evaluate installed equipment to ensure a seamless and complication-free operation Provide detailed phone support, guiding customers through troubleshooting process Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, fostering effective and clear interactions with customers to address their needs and provide satisfactory solutions Diagnose and troubleshoot a diverse array of issues, respond promptly to emergencies, and apply analytical skills and technical proficiency for effective problem resolution Efficiently coordinate and schedule tasks at job sites for an organized workflow Proficiently interpret schematics, demonstrating a keen understanding of intricate equipment details for accurate analysis and troubleshooting Perform in-house repairs and parts assembly with meticulous attention to detail Assist with rental units, ensuring seamless coordination and effective assistance Provide essential services on consumables such as tags and medical equipment Conduct scheduled maintenance work with precision and efficiency Document all work thoroughly, maintaining meticulous records for transparency, accountability, and a comprehensive task overview Create technical reports for customers and provide proficiency training for equipment Follow all safety protocols, maintain cleanliness, organize tools and equipment, and manage parts inventory Collaborate with engineering team to facilitate automation startups, actively contributing to equipment fabrication and rigorous testing processes Collaborate with sales department to obtain new orders and address customer needs QUALIFICATIONS Required Associate Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 10-hour OSHA course certification Desired Experience in steel, aluminum, brass, or titanium manufacturing and/or automated mill ** This is a full-time, in-person position based in Chillicothe, OH, and involves extensive travel (about 75% of the time). ** THE COMPANY – InfoSight At InfoSight, we are more than just a manufacturer; we are innovators at heart.
