Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work in the field. Experience repairing and maintaining Construction Diesel Heavy Equipment such as Case, Caterpillar and Komatsu Heavy Equipment. Work in a safe manner, understand OSHA standards and maintain a clean workplace. Experience using diagnostic software such as CAT ET a plus (company will train). Proficient in hydraulics knowledge and diagnostics and repair. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Experience and understanding of computer and electrical systems. Knowledge of diesel engines a plus. Conduct inspections of equipment noting mechanical or safety issues. Must be able to operate basic tools and specialty tools. Work independently or as part of a team. Must be reliable and show up on time. Required Skills, Education, and Experience One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school in diesel mechanics or a related field a plus 3 years' experience/or training/or classes in repairing and maintaining Case, Caterpillar and Komatsu Heavy Equipment.
