Job Functions:  Provides on-site services and technical support to customers both at the customer's facility and via telephone. Services include commissioning & start up, preventative maintenance programs, annual inspections, field maintenance and warranty repair.
Accountabilities: Perform Service Activities Conduct Facility Surveys Customer Prospecting Customer Relationships Sales Partner Training Other Job Duties: Field Responsibilities: Install and/or oversee installation of equipment according to plan specifications. Test equipment to ensure equipment is functioning properly and efficiently. Demonstrated ability to operate, trouble shoot, and repair Haws products. Conduct onsite training to instruct customers on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Schedule and perform preventative and routine maintenance on equipment as needed. Identify and resolve equipment issues and complete necessary repairs. Obtain assistance from Engineers and/or HI Engineering Manager if unable to resolve issues. Oversee others employed by customers on-site in servicing and repairing equipment. Provide documentation of visits and services performed for customer file. Understand OSHA safety practices and able to work safely. Ability to perform ANSI Z358.1 annual inspections. Develop working relationships with customers to promote future sales. All other duties as assigned. In-house Responsibilities: Assist with Haws Integrated product testing for complex custom projects involving commissioning. Prepare quotes for service work in response to customer inquiries. Provide phone support to customers with technical problems as HI tech support. Troubleshoot over the phone and resolve minor technical issues. Plan site visits with checklist, parts, and documents to ensure efficient time usage while on site. Communicates company's needs prior to travel to site to ensure customer is ready. Conduct debriefing meetings with customers following service work. Follow up with customers after install or repair to ensure product is performing properly Document all service work and key customer interactions in salesforce.com. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: Associate degree or completion of trade school with focus on electro-mechanical systems and a minimum of three years prior experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong design background; ability to read blue prints or CAD drawings to include electrical schematics; P & ID and general arrangements; and prior experience with industry standards including ANSI, CSA and UL. Familiarity with NFPA and NEC codes for equipment designed in hazardous environments. Demonstrated ability to test, operate, and repair Haws products.
Work Qualities: Strong work ethic; self-motivated; punctual and dependable; ability to work independently; must be detail oriented; and have good manual dexterity. Strong service orientation.
Language Skills: Ability to communicate and interface effectively across organizational levels. Ability to build positive relationships, bond with clients, and respond to questions from customers and engineers. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical manuals and procedures. Ability to produce concise and well-structured written communication appropriate for technical and business audiences.
Reasoning Ability:  Ability to apply common sense thinking to a wide range of practical problems. Ability to analyze and solve problem. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in verbal, written or diagram form.

Employees in this position must be able to:
Sit for up to 10 hours, stand for up to 8 hours Use hands to finger or feel. Reach with hands and arms, bend, climb or balance and stoop, kneel or crouch. Regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment:  Office, production floor, hazardous and outdoor environments on industrial sites. Physical presence is essential for this position.
