About the Position
The Machine Tool Service Engineer will be responsible for proper installation and training of Barfeeders, Bar Unloaders, and Chucks on CNC turning centers.

They will establish and maintain proper business relationships with our customers throughout North America.
What You'll Do
Provide service and customer support during field visits.
Manage all on site installation, repair, and maintenance.
Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations.
Demonstrate and educate the customer on the Lexair system.
Always follow safety standards.
Maintain communication with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow up.
When not traveling, individual skillsets will be utilized at the plant as appropriate.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
Technical Degree or Certification.
A valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
Proven Field Service experience
Knowledge of CNC Machining.
Experience troubleshooting and responding to customers' concerns.
Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
Understanding of CNC controls, electronic circuits, and fluid power.
Strong Mechanical and Electrical aptitude
Read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams.
Must possess strong adaptability skills and be able to work in a wide variety of industrial environments.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Excellent problem-solving ability.
Ability to follow complex directions.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
Resourceful, with the ability to work independently or in a team.
Ability to multitask activities with shifting priorities.
Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules.
Ethical and trustworthy.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.

The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to a wide variety of Industrial environments. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Travel Requirements:
75% based on Customer needs.
Flexible schedule and willing to travel on short notice.
Overtime, nights, and some weekends are required.
