What You Will Be Doing As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries, providing product and technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing instrumentation equipment and systems, ensuring that systems meet safety requirements, and providing user training.
Field Service activities.
-Troubleshoot electrical systems to the circuit board level
-Work on mechanical assemblies to the component level
Ability and willingness to work in a safety conscious manner necessary due to potential hazardous chemicals, biologicals, and radioactivity.
-Wllingness to travel overnight, and on consecutive nights sometimes with little to no notice subject to business requirements.
-Work with non-technical customers and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner.
-Demonstrated working knowledge of company instrument application programs and personal computer disk operating systems.
- Beckhoff Twin CAT, Elmo Studio, Vision Systems, and barcode reading would
be an advantage
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft D365 Service module and other day to
day functions. What You Need for this Position -Best candidates have passion for and mechanical ability, hobbies that align with Mechanical abilities; motorcycle / car mechanic, drone building, construction, etc..Two to four years field service experience, experience in biomedical field service is an advantage.
-Experienced and good to travel 75% of the time with territory mainly the New England area. (We don't work weekends)
Experience in automation, robotics, or similar fields, is essential
Must speak fluent English
Must have a good driving record and maintain adequate insurance on personal car.
