Responsibilities
• Perform complete oil, filter and lubrication services• Inspect equipment for potential component failure• Inspect safety devices and report inoperable conditions• Provide service reports, oil samples, and inspection paperwork to customers• Maintain service readiness of field lube truck• Knowledgeable in the proper startup and shutdown procedures of CAT equipment• Flexible to work after hours when needed• Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner• Promotes a safe and healthy work environment• Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
• High school diploma or (GED) equivalent• One year experience servicing heavy equipment or equivalent combination of education and experience• Basic knowledge of safely operating heavy construction equipment• Basic heavy equipment service/maintenance knowledge• Able to perform machine inspections• Ability to operate a service vehicle• Organizational and time management skills required• Team player with ability to complete work with minimal supervision• Solid written and oral communication skills• Ability to establish the proper image as a representative of Blanchard Machinery• Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency• Proficient in the use of a computer and related software• Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy• Valid driver's license and safe driving record• Able to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays
