We are currently seeking a Field Marketing Intern to join our team! This is your chance to gain real-time experience in marketing while finishing your degree!
We are looking for an Intern to work 25-30 hours per week during the Summer months to help us coordinate marketing tactics and local events in the Dane County and surrounding areas. We are seeking someone that has flexibility to work daytime and some evening or weekend events.
Pay: The base pay rate offered for this position is expected to be $17.00 per hour.
Intern Resources: Our interns partner with seasoned professionals to help with executing high-priority company projects and day-to-day operational activities. As an intern, TDS offers you:
Access to an Intern Associate Resource Group (ARG). This group's purpose is to support you by providing extra resources for development, opportunities for internal advancement, and forums to connect with other interns throughout the company. ARG meets once per month to allow you to hear from other interns about their projects, as well as leaders within our organization about their team. They host networking events to grow your connections within the organization with the goal of finding full-time employment by your graduation. Prioritization of your professional development from in-depth training. As a Field Marketing Intern on our team, you will get the opportunity to -
Support the Marketing team (AM-Field Marketing) on marketing events and projects to meet goals. This may include, but is not limited to: Researching local real estate and distributing door hangers. Assist with Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs) marketing opportunities. Coordination of materials used at community events, parades, and pop-up events, and engaging with potential customers to support all activities in the market. Managing materials used to collect customer information for the sales team for lead generation follow up. Coordinating, tracking, and ordering promotional items, ordering food, organizing entertainment, and assuring proper event set up. Managing promotional inventory. Coordinating and scheduling the use of company vehicles or mobile demos. Coordinating employee volunteer responsibilities to support execution of marketing events. Benefits Associates scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week have access to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off benefits such as vacation (15 days accrued per year for full-time; pro-rated for part-time associates working between 20-39 hours), sick leave (10 days accrued per year for full-time and pro-rated for all other associates), seven paid national holidays and one floating holiday, paid parental leave (2 weeks after 12 months of employment), among others. Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability coverage is also available for associates working 30 or more hours per week and Education Assistance is available to full-time associates. Associates scheduled to work under twenty hours per week or for a limited term (i.e. interns) are eligible for medical coverage, the 401(k) plan (if 18 or older), as well as sick leave (10 days accrued per year for full-time and pro-rated for all other associates). For more detail on the benefits we offer   .
