Details of the offer

The Company
Sploot Veterinary Care is on a mission to transform the veterinary care experience for pets, pet parents, and veterinary care teams alike. Sploot provides high quality, empathy-led and seamless primary and urgent care for pets - which means pets get great routine and unexpected care whenever they need it, and pet parents get peace of mind, always. We are super proud of the "Sploot Experience" - a modern, warm clinic experience designed for today's pet parents.
We're at an exciting point in our growth - building our first clinics AND building our brand. As we expand, we recognize how important (and fun!) it is for the Sploot experience to be consistently helpful, authentic, and fun at every touchpoint. And a big part of that is our connection with our community! As we grow, we are spending more time bringing the Sploot experience to life beyond our clinics - whether it's in dog parks or Christmas markets, in apartment buildings or through partnerships with local breweries, we're excited to get the great word about Sploot through these hands on, people-first opportunities.
The Role
The Field Marketing Associate will enthusiastically represent Sploot in identifying and executing a variety of marketing events in the community, and be a genuine and warm ambassador of Sploot! As an early stage company, we are exploring the best ways to connect with our community, and the Field Marketing Associate will play a key role in helping us do just that!
Responsibilities may evolve as we evolve, and as we learn more; that being said, here's what's likely a representative scope of what you'll do.
* Live, breathe, and share about the amazing Sploot experience at all events - warmly sharing about our amazing clinic experience with pet parents at all Sploot events (and ideally, all the time!)
* Help set up, host, and break down great community events, such as: giving out Sploot swag at dog parks and community events; hosting dog costume contests at partners like breweries; hosting a Sploot table at relevant conferences; running fun engagement / social media-worthy events like dog treat trucks, photo opportunities with Santa, and more!
*

Tally community engagement - how many people attend our event, sign up for our emails, and so on
*

Suggest ideas and improvements for how to improve events, find new events, and identify more and better ways to engage with our community.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for warm, responsible, and execution-oriented people to join the Field Marketing team at Sploot.
You are:
* Warm, people and pet oriented person!
* Comfortable meeting lots of new people and working with friends and strangers alike.
* Responsible - punctual, task oriented, and love getting things done.
* Flexible - we're a start up, and we'll be shifting things around quickly as we learn!
* Comfortable rolling with the punches, and embrace the opportunity to grow and learn with us.
* Interested in either marketing, event planning, operations, or a related field.
We are looking to build a team of field marketers, for a part time commitment of roughly 15 - 20 hours a week for 4-6 months. We are open to working with people's schedules pending each person's background, experience, interest level, and availability.
This job is great for: anyone looking for fun part-time work; people who enjoy pets; people who want to build experience in (field) marketing; people who want to get experience with start ups! For the career-oriented individual, there may be opportunities to grow with Sploot based on performance and interest.
This role will report into the Field Marketing Lead.
Why Sploot?
Ever wonder what it'd be like to help really build something? Have a huge amount of impact, and be able to play a big role in setting your own course? Do you like working with kind, collaborative people who basically universally love animals? How about having team leads who are truly dedicated to your career satisfaction and growth?
If the answer to any of the above is YES - you'll love working with Sploot! Every day, we're excited that we get to provide amazing pet and pet parent experiences, work with cool people, and build a truly innovative, inspiring future for the veterinary care industry. Plus, it's a huge growing experience - every single person on our team is exposed to new experiences, challenges, and opportunities, all the time. And that makes coming to work, PAWESOME.
Pay Range
Starting at $18 / hr, pending experience & responsibilities!
