GDIT is seeking a Field Engineer to join our team. US Citizenship required. No Telecommuting allowed and must be local to the office . HOW A FIELD ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Job Responsibilities:
Research, evaluate, and develop solutions to problems.
Performs maintenance of different types of equipment and infrastructure.
Maintains motion control systems, automated inspection systems, automated mailing systems, Class IV lasers, and other production equipment.
Installs more advanced or new technologies based on the needs of the customer/client.
Tests equipment and systems to evaluate whether they meet compliance standards.
Report findings and provide solutions for any issues that may halt progression.
Conducts thorough follow-up assessments and checkups of equipment and make recommendations where applicable.
Provides training on product features and specifications. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS : BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience
