A reputable company which is one of the fast growing companies in the United States is looking for a certified Field Crane Technician in the Charleston area.Job Requirements:A minimum 3 years of experience as a Mobile Crane Mechanic/Technician that can operate and inspect cranes in order to diagnose defects.Demonstrates working knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS, LICCON, and Greer systems.Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gaugesReads and understands operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawingsTests mechanical, electronic, electrical and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specificationsPrepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completenessCapable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervisionMaintain conformity to safety requirements, manufacturer procedures, and other regulationsProperly fills out working reports, hour's reports, time sheets, hour's overviews, work orders, and expense reportsExceptional customer service and communication skillsAbility to work overtime as well as on weekends is a plus. Travel is required periodically for 1 to 4-day intervals for field techs.
