The Field Alliance Management Specialist is a member of the Field Alliance Management (FAM) team, embedded in PTC Americas Digital Thread sales organization. The Ecosystem Specialist is a sales role responsible for driving annual recurring revenue growth (ARR Growth) in the Americas region, through effective ecosystem teaming. They will report to the Senior Director, Ecosystem Alliances, with a dotted line to the Americas' Sales VP, Strategic Alliances, and ultimately Americas DVP Sales. The right candidate will exhibit a growth mindset, willing to take on challenging stretch assignments and gain competency and confidence over time. Alongside PTC sellers and FAMs, they will execute the ingredients of collaborative sales plays in conjunction with strategic third parties, promoting innovative business value to PTC's S1 and S2 market segments, i.e., large enterprise accounts supported directly by PTC sales and customer success professionals.Daily activities include planning, execution, tracking results and delivering read-outs on executive briefings, joint seminars, strategic account development and regional "moon shots" that specifically involve collaboration with global systems integrators (GSIs), technology makers, cloud service providers, and/or other third parties. This position is hybrid, with 20 working hours expected to be in person on the vibrant twelfth floor sales area of the PTC Seaport Head Quarters (121 Seaport Blvd, Boston, MA) Additionally, this role may require two to three days of domestic travel per quarter, to meet with colleagues, partners, support events and deliver presentations. RESPONSIBILITIES:Support the FAM organization's formation and execution of sales plays and account campaigns (account-based marketing/sales) that depend upon effective collaboration by PTC sellers with an ecosystem of third parties. These third parties may be members of PTC's One Partner Program which operates under a clearly defined governance structure. More frequently, these third parties are the field divisions of advisory firms, integrators and technology companies, who collaborate with PTC in the spirit of agile value creation rather than programmatic governance. Perform the hands-on database and analytics work related to all aspects of a complex ecosystem campaign, including development and maintenance of lists, stakeholder mapping, ecosystem mapping, meeting coordination and action tracking.Perform weekly reporting of sales pipeline and deal forecasting related to ecosystem sales campaignsEngage in direct ecosystem sales activities, including ecosystem prospecting, cold calling to identify stakeholders within potential ecosystem members, appointment setting, action tracking, and delivery of presentations to collaborators and customers.Support ad hoc requests for ecosystem support from colleagues in other segments.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.Poise and confidence to make brief presentations in English, delivered in person and via Teams Video to audiences of 5 to begin, scaling to audiences of 20 people, including VP and senior level stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to rapidly research and synthesize the hypothetical value PTC and our ecosystems partners can bring "better together" to solve a prospective customer's business problem.High EQ that begets trust from PTC sellers, customers and third parties, amid the ambiguity inherent to working with a suite of ecosystem members whose skills and self-interests can overlapConversational fluency discussing Industry 4.0 business trends is preferred. Grasp of the Digital Thread concept is a strong plus.Native curiosity, manifest in habit of asking questions that generate insights, above and beyond simple small talk engagement.Interest in modern ecosystem selling, how it compliments direct selling methods and contrasts with traditional GTM methods, i.e., through channel partners and corporate alliances.EXPERIENCE:1-3 years of business experience in sales, business development and/or business analytics and planningProven history of meeting or exceeding targets while working independentlySuccess managing a project involving three or more business entities.
