As a Fiber Drop Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently schedule all service drop installations. To track progress of daily drop footage placed, issue one calls, re-schedule drop placement when needed. Monitor supplies and materials and reorder as need. Work closely with drop managers, drop techs and respond to customer service representative inquiries. This will require that you manage your own daily work and schedule within certain parameters, and that you are committed to the high quality and accuracy of your work. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule drop installation utilizing ALLOs preferred software system.
Place all "One Call" locates and refresh request as needed prior to work
Respond to customer inquiries, follow up on any customer request
Monitor material and supply levels and reorder as needed
Complete daily, weekly, monthly reports as needed.
Secure necessary locates through 1-call system before work is initiated.
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Provide a safe work environment by being knowledgeable of and enforcing all state, local, federal safety regulations and company safety policies.
Operate and monitor company-owned vehicle and equipment by inspecting condition daily and maintaining a valid driver's license.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
1 year of fiber construction experience
Working knowledge of drop placement
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Thorough knowledge of ALLO construction procedures.
Thorough knowledge of fiber construction and material.
Basic knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word and GIS/CAD.
Skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, contractors and company employees.
Good mathematical skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to operate a company vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Attention to detail is paramount.
Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions.
Ability to work independently on multifaceted projects.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to present facts clearly and accurately in graphic form.
Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and make independent decisions within guidelines.
Previous experience in the communication industry a plus.
Experience working to tight deadlines.
Excellent analytical skills.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
