Description Chevois hiring a Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will provide project management and contract support to the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The ideal candidate will have previous Project Management experience, preferably for DHS and or CISA engagements involving administrative, analytical and technical support. A secret clearance is preferred. The location is Arlington, VA.This position is contingent on contract award.
Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the consultant team's effort in supporting client involving administrative, analytical, knowledge management technical support, and executive secretariat supportBe responsible for all Contractor work performed under the contractBe a single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and the CORBe available to meet with the project team upon request to present deliverables, discuss progress, exchange information and resolve emergent technical problems and issuesEnsure Contractor employees understand and abide by Department of Homeland Security established rules, regulations and policies concerning safety and securityAssist in developing and updating project management policies, process, and workflowsDevelop best practices to assist in guiding and supporting client through development, production, deployment, operations, support, and disposal of projects/programsAssist in drafting, monitoring and updating project management plansAssist in developing and delivering project specific communicationAssist in monitoring and controlling project specific workAssist in developing performance measurement across the client workstreamsAssist in designing and monitoring compliance with quality assurance and internal control proceduresAssist in developing a risk management planAssist in developing new Business Process Improvements (BPI)Required Skills 15 years of Infrastructure Protection/Infrastructure Security policy experience (DHS, DOD, Intel or other federal agencies) Requires previous knowledge and experience with Counter-Improvised Explosive Device Programs, Trainings, and Outreach (DHS, DOD, Intel or other federal agencies).10 years previous experience in performing or managing those who perform duties categorized as administration services. 7 years previous experience working within an Executive Secretariat Team. 5 years previous experience serving in a Supervisory Management capacity. 10 years Project Management Experience to include previous experience in leading a team of 10+ FTE's. Previous experience liaising between contract staff and government client staff. Requires previous experience in completing deliverables to be submitted to the contracting officer's representative.
