General Description:
Francesca Gallarello MD,P.A. has an exciting opportunity for a full time responsible Advanced Practice Registered Nurse . The APRN is responsible for assessing physical and psychosocial status of clients by means of interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic studies. Assists physicians in performing medical procedures, up to and including blood drawing, vital signs and nursing assessments, history and physical. You will apply medical techniques and principles under the direction of a physician, and you will deal with a diverse set of patients offering them care and encouragement. Activities are carried out in accordance with the scope of practice and standards for ARNPs in Florida.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Experience in cardiology ,in cardiac diseases and Stress test .
Recognizes deviations from normal in the physical assessment. Works in collaboration with a physician in formulating treatment plans for health problems and follow-up.
Writes prescriptions for medication, blood products based upon laboratory results, routine diagnostic and follow-up studies, therapeutic measures, and post-discharge care in accordance with written practice protocols.
Obtains complete medical history independent of supervision by the physician.
Orders appropriate laboratory tests according to practice guidelines.
Develops, implements, and evaluates a plan of care that is appropriate for the patient and family.
Assess severity of patient's condition, determining and directing patients to appropriate medical providers.
Inform physicians about any problems or discrepancies that might arise
Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for the patients
Comply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven work experience as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills/.
Ensuring compliance with local, state and federal health regulations.
Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques
Performs in tactful and professional manner.
Problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
Caring and compassionate
Knowledge of scope of practice.
Education Requirements:
Master's degree in advanced Registered Nurse
(Cardiology practice
)
Current licensure to practice as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida.
CPR certification required.
ACLS Certification required
Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum of two years' experience as a registered nurse
