We cover all bar dues and CLE fees. The role includes a base salary with an attractive bonus.Responsibilities:Divide marital assets, including real estate, when necessary during divorce proceedingsRepresent clients in court proceedings as neededCommunicate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation processAdvocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of actionDraft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of casesRepresent clients in hearings, mediations, and trialsDirect and supervise the work of support staffDraft pleadings and ordersPrepare equitable distribution chartsConduct monthly file review meetingsMonitor retainer balances and communicate replenishment needs to the billing specialistCommunicate with the client to understand their goal and develop a corresponding strategy to meet those goalsRepresent clients in appeal when necessaryQualifications:Candidate must have a license to practice law in either West Virginia or Ohio and be willing to obtain the other state licensure upon being offered employmentPrior family law experience is preferred but not requiredExcellent oral communication skillsAbility to stay calm under pressureEmpathy for clients with a genuine desire to improve their livesJuris Doctor DegreeGreat Negotiation SkillsAbout Company:Klie Law Offices, PLLC is a growing litigation law firm that takes pride in helping clients through difficult times by providing honest and efficient service.
