Job Description We have immediate openings for Entry-Level Factory Full-time Day shift positions.
Turn your hobby into a career! Build on your personal interests where we'll help grow your skills. We are hiring immediately for a number of different areas of our shoe manufacturing operation including leather cutting, sewing, and attaching soles just to name a few.
Our environment is fast paced with a strong focus on safety and quality.
WORKING HOURS: 1st Shift :  Core hours: Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 3:00pm, Fridays 6:00am-Noon. ** Starting wage is  $22.90/hour. 2nd Shift :  Core hours: Monday – Thursday 4:00pm - 2:30 am **  Starting wage is $24.04/hour (Includes base wage of $22.90 plus 5%-night shift premium) Once qualified on a specific job, the base wage may increase to anywhere from $22.90 to $25.40 per hour according to union contract.
**Overtime - Production Operator positions may require overtime  up to  13 hours in a week  to meet the business demands. Overtime may extend start and end times for 1st shift including starts as early as 5:00am and some Friday afternoons and up to 2 hours after shift M-Th and 5 hours on Fridays (4pm-9pm) for 2nd shift.
Qualifications We will train for all positions, no previous experience required. Basic qualifications include ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds, frequently stand, twist, bend, grasp, work in a fast paced environment and work effectively as a team. Previous experience in woodworking, auto repair, industrial sewing, carpentry or other manufacturing may be helpful but is not required.
