Facility Operations Manager for Hoover Met ComplexResponsible for management of various facilitiesEnsuring first-class experiences for all guests
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise Facility Operations Event Coordinators and Shift Leads• Manage part-time facility operations employees• Establish positive working relationship with City of Hoover departments• Work with event management staff and rightsholders for event details• Develop and implement routine schedules for maintenance of facilities• Coordinate schedules for cleaning services during and after events• Inspect grounds daily for cleanliness• Submit work orders through City of Hoover liaisons• Serve as Manager on Duty• Responsible for daily open and close of facility• Work within established budget• Additional administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in facility management or related field• Minimum of three years experience in managing facilities• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and negotiating skills• Must be a team player• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Excellent computer skills• Flexible work schedule• Current CPR/FIRST AID certifications• Current Certified Pool and Spa Operator certification• Current Forklift Operator certification• Ability to lift 50 pounds• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
