Job Summary:Peter Boulware Toyota, a leading automotive dealership located in Tallahassee, Florida, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our facility. As the Facility Manager, you will ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of our building and grounds. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, with the opportunity for growth and advancement within our organization.Compensation & Benefits:The Facility Manager position at Peter Boulware Toyota offers a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plans, paid time off, and ongoing training and development opportunities.Responsibilities:Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for all facility equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systemsOversee all repairs and maintenance work, ensuring timely completion and quality controlManage and maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and tools needed for facility maintenanceCoordinate and manage all outside contractors and vendors, including negotiating contracts, monitoring their work, and ensuring compliance with company policies and proceduresConduct routine inspections of the facility and address any safety hazards or issues promptlyMaintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs, including costs and schedulesMonitor and manage facility budgets, including expense forecasting and cost-saving initiativesTrain and supervise a team of custodial and maintenance staffEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to building codes, safety, and environmental standardsAssist with other duties and projects as assigned by upper managementRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in facilities management or a related field preferredMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in the automotive industryStrong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and repair processesExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as neededEEOC Statement:Peter Boulware Toyota is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
