Job Description Description: A "handy" individual with knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and repair work. Must be able to work as a team member while simultaneously being self-reliant on problem solving and repairs.
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist reports to the Area Facility Coordinator and will be responsible for general building upkeep and repairs of systems, equipment, and standard commercial preventative maintenance for our fitness clubs. The Specialist role will also support national initiatives from a digital perspective. This position will comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
The Maintenance Specialist will:
Perform facility upkeep and repairs such as drywall patching, painting, finish carpentry, electrical, and plumbing for all locations.
Maintain and repair fitness, tanning and spa equipment independently while abiding by manufacturer & safety regulations.
Work with the Director of Facility Management, Facility Coordinator and partnering with outside vendors to schedule maintenance as needed.
Support virtually project to enhance project implementation and effectiveness.
Assist with implementation of Maintenance software for all regions. Help develop new processes and training to support new system.
Ability to be on call for maintenance emergency.
Experience using a variety of hand and power tools.
Updating work order software system to ensure timely
repairs/resolutions
with accurate description.
This is a salaried position starting at $66,560 per year

Requirements:
Must have reliable work vehicle, mobile phone, and standard tools.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Be able to bend, twist, stoop, squat and lift 75lbs
Must be able to climb ladder.
Good time management skills
Must be proficient computers skills
Always present a neat and clean-cut appearance
High School Diploma or GED preferred

Must be 18 years or older.
