Facilities Summer Assistant

Job summary: The Facilities Assistant fulfills the mission of the Catholic school by helping the Director of Facilities and Facilities Assistant with summer cleaning and refurbishing of classrooms and office space. The position is hired and evaluated by the Principal, with input from the Director of Facilities.
Essential job functions: Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church Supports and adheres to the Code of Conduct and policies and procedures of the school and Diocese Assists Director of Facilities and Facilities Assistant on custodial operations for summer cleaning that includes classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, lockers, whiteboards, wastebaskets, windows, furniture, and equipment Demonstrates professionalism in conduct, demeanor, and work habits Important job functions: Conducts emergency clean ups and assists in set up for special events as needed Assists in moving furniture and equipment as directed by the administration Communicates maintenance and repair issues to the Director of Facilities Minimum qualifications: Experience:
