Responsibilities
• Inspect, diagnose and test mechanical equipment, electrical equipment and fire & life safety systems• Respond immediately to fire alarm systems and protect building occupants and property• Perform preventive maintenance and testing of equipment• Repair and perform preventive maintenance on general building facilities and systems• Perform non-destructive tests and report deficiencies• Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders• Interpret engineering drawings• Keep Lead Technician informed about project's productivity and issues• Identify and resolve problems• Perform all work in accordance with code and safety procedures• Perform patient room maintenance• Be detail-oriented and have analytical skills
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED equivalent• 1-5 years of building maintenance experience• Ability to interpret blueprints• Familiarity with hand tools and equipment• Pass criminal background check and drug screen• Pass motor vehicle record check• Valid driver's license and access to a well-maintained vehicle• Up-to-date medical records and vaccinations
