Job Overview:
To collect, analyze, and interpret facilities data to support decision-making, energy savings, and project management initiatives, with a focus on using data analytics to create actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
Collect and analyze facilities data from a variety of sources, including building and energy management systems, energy meters, and maintenance records. Identify trends and patterns in the data to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement data-driven solutions to reduce energy consumption, improve efficiency, and extend the life of assets. Central documentation control function for the facilities department for all projects. Manage and coordinate medium to large scale facilities projects. Generate KPIs, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management. Provide back-up support to the current electrical engineer for project management and daily operations. Provide back-up support to facilities BMS Engineer Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline ; 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Knowledge & Skills
Experience with data mining and analysis Experience with generating actionable presentations for management level Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications:

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC ("MBV") is a plant in Ladson, South Carolina that assembles Sprinter vans for the U.S. and Canadian market under the brands Mercedes-Benz and Freightliner. The midsize Mercedes-Benz Metris vans are also reassembled at this location.
Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC has invested more than 500 million U.S. dollars in the new Sprinter plant, which officially opened in 2018. Today the MBV facility provides more than 1,600 jobs and supports at least 600 additional jobs in the region through its suppliers. More than 200,000 Sprinter and Metris vans have been assembled in North Charleston and delivered to destinations across the U.S. since 2006. Therefore, MBV celebrates a 15-year legacy of SKD production in 2021. The U.S. is the second largest market for Sprinter vans, after Germany.
