SUMMARY Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Fabricator will work in all phases of fabrication for each of our unique projects specifically designed for our clients. The Fabricator has a direct impact on how each product is crafted and delivered to the client.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to:
Possess an eye for quality and detail and desire to work on cool projects Must be willing to do all phases of fabrication Always maintain a safe and positive work environment Operates power tools, fabrication machines, and/or life equipment and material Work and collaborate as a team to complete projects on a timely schedule Takes direction well and is a self-starter Improves processes when necessary Fulfills production duties assigned as needed KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to read CAD drawings is preferred Knowledge of fractions, decimals- both standard and metric Ability to use various measuring tools Knowledge of fabrication shop procedures Ability to work solo and as part of a project team Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch all day and frequently lift or move items up to 75 pounds EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years of experience with finish carpentry, cabinet making, custom woodworking, finishing, and plastics OSHA certification is preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
