Responsibilities
• Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications• Select appropriate cutting tools and machining parameters• Monitor machine operations and maintain quality standards• Select and install tooling and fixtures• Perform machine setups and tool adjustments• Conduct in-process inspections and address deviations• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines• Maintain records of machine setups and tooling selections• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist• Proficiency in programming and operating CNC milling machines• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team• Knowledge of safety procedures related to machining operations• Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted• Capacity to sustain standing for extended periods
