Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life forall.Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.Responsibilities:Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing processDismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawingsUses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.Flexibility and ability to work 12-hour shiftsRebuilds manufacturing equipment as requiredMay perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.Skills and Experience include but are not limited to:Basic understanding of semiconductor equipment and processesIntermediate knowledge of AC/DC and Digital Electronics circuits, including fundamentals of electricity, basic electronic components and circuit analysisIntermediate knowledge of algebraic conceptsConfirmed ability to troubleshoot and resolve intermediate equipment problems and address root causeProven ability to properly use common hand toolsIntermediate understanding of wafer sort equipment and processesIntermediate data extraction, analysis, and reporting skillsIntermediate knowledge of test and calibration equipment (O-scopes and DMMs)Confirmed ability in multi-tasking complex projectsBasic understanding of SPC principlesValidated ability to communicate and present effectivelyProven ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervisionDemonstrated time management and prioritization skillsMinimum Qualifications:Associates in an electronic related field and/or military training and/or military experience and/or equivalent work experience.Preferred Qualifications:Associates in an electronic related field and/or 5 years of semiconductorexperience.Additional Job Description:Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to resolve problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as the need arises. May perform equipment modifications as advised by engineers.
