F35A Program Office Support Location Beavercreek, OH : Title: F35A Program Office Support KBR is seeking a USAF Acquisition/Logistics Subject Matter Expert, located in the Dayton/Beavercreek, Ohio area to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) F-35A Fleet Management Office (FMO). The F-35A FMO is responsible for management of sustainment functions of a growing fleet of F-35A aircraft fielded at various operating locations around the globe. Mission areas include information technology security, integrated logistics, engineering support, post-production upgrades, supply chain management, support equipment sustainment, readiness and cost reduction initiatives management and business operations. These highly complex mission areas require specialized skills and expertise.
The candidate should be experienced and successful at administering and executing the technical and management processes for establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout the product life cycle. The successful candidate should enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, as well as, dedicated to the success of our customers and their training needs. The candidate must work well with a widely dispersed team and be assertive in capturing key inputs and data to incorporate into various products on a daily basis. The candidate must also have excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and active listening). Proficiency with developing presentations (PowerPoint) and written documents for executive-level review and consumption is necessary. Previous experience working in either a Commanders Action Group (CAG) or Directors Action Group (DAG) is highly desired, but not required.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Working as part of a small team managing tasks which are flowed into the Program office, triaging tasks, and assigning tasks to the organization and office-level leadership for technical answers Tracking tasking and coordinating final responses of tasks for external distribution Reviewing tasks for clarity and presentation to externals Providing front office support, including drafting of official documents in the correct formats for use within and externally to the program office Supporting the coordination and management of decision documents, directives, work plans, governance documentation, and strategic artifacts Provide support for records management in accordance with organizational directives Development of briefings for staff meetings, for release outside of the Program office, coordination of reviews Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a Strategic Communication Plan Ability to plan, analyze, and coordinate a system or portion of a major system's acquisition and transfer into operational use; to include the identification and correlation of specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program; and to develop and analyze data to determine logistic objectives and goals, identify support requirements (including funding, contract development, and other technical support requirements), and establish relationships between the participants involved in deploying the plan. Travel: Occasional travel required (10-15%); Local candidates only, relocation package not available.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Business, Management or a degree relevant to the position Ten (10) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline and technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development Familiarity with DoD 5000.02 acquisition policies and procedures Demonstrated knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition to plan, organize, and coordinate critical aspects of the development, production, and deployment of systems, subsystems, and equipment Microsoft Office experience Ability to excel as a member of a collaborative team through open communication, transparency, and flexibility Ability to relate professionally with senior Government customers and colleagues Strong/excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Prepping senior leader(s) for meetings and engagements, ensuring all relevant information is conveyed and understood to support discussions and decision-making The Candidate will have to show practical and demonstrated program management skills with emphasis on communication and stakeholder engagement with the following required skills: Multi-Tasking Problem solving Critical and Creative Thinking Plan development and execution Clear and well-organized communication, especially writing Candidate must possess strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications Preparing government customers for meetings and engagements, ensuring all relevant information is conveyed and fully understood to support discussions and decision-making Desired Qualifications Masters' degree SharePoint experience CAG/DAG Experience Experience as an Executive Officer Experience working with the F-35 Joint Strike Program, highly desired Security Requirements: Secret
