Administer and troubleshoot systems within Linux environments and utilize Ciena for telecom network support, including software loading and configuration. Demonstrate a strong understanding of cables, collection systems, and data flow, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Engage with subject matter experts (SMEs) to validate data post-software deployment. Manage the submission of Discrepancy Maintenance Reports (DMRs) to address and resolve data flow path issues. Configure and update software, consistently applying your expertise in NiFi and Linux to ensure optimal system performance. Provide expert troubleshooting and problem-solving solutions across various program areas. At least seven (7) years of System Engineering experience in programs and contracts with similar scope, type, and complexity. A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Alternatively, a total of twelve (12) years of System Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Proficiency in Linux and NiFi, with a deep understanding of system configurations, software deployment, and data flow mechanisms. TS/SCI with Poly
