THE ESSENTIALS A high school diploma or equivalent Experience as a chimney sweep or a related field Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to chimney sweeping Familiarity with tools and equipment used for chimney cleaning and maintenance Good physical condition and ability to work at heights Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills Certification from a professional chimney sweep association is preferred but not required.
