We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Executive Director to oversee the operations of a nursing home facility located in Sylvania, GA.

As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, ensuring high-quality care for residents, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires excellent organizational, interpersonal, and managerial skills, as well as a deep understanding of the unique needs of the elderly population.

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Administration:

- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the nursing home's mission and goals.

- Oversee daily operations, including budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.

- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and maintain necessary licenses and certifications.

- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development.

- Collaborate with the Board of Directors, stakeholders, and community partners to enhance the facility's reputation and services.

2. Resident Care and Quality Assurance:

- Uphold the highest standards of resident care, ensuring the physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being of residents.

- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, implementing improvements as needed.

- Promote resident satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and maintaining open lines of communication.

- Implement and maintain systems for tracking and measuring key performance indicators related to resident outcomes and satisfaction.

3. Staff Management and Development:

- Recruit, hire, and train competent and compassionate staff members, including nursing, administrative, and support personnel.

- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, empathy, and respect.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training and development plans.

- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and schedule management to meet resident needs effectively.

4. Financial Management:

- Develop and manage the nursing home budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficient resource utilization.

- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

- Oversee billing, collections, and reimbursement processes, working closely with insurance providers and government agencies.

- Seek opportunities for revenue growth, cost containment, and operational efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Required progressive leadership experience in a nursing home, assisted living, or healthcare setting.

- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing homes.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.

- Proven track record in financial management, including budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue optimization.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
