Job summary
The Executive Director is responsible for leading the entire community and supervising all community associates.They ensure a positive and safe work environment for residents and team members.This position reports to the Regional Vice President.

Responsibilities
• Maintain target census level and create a community sales culture.• Lead in setting and executing sales goals and initiatives.• Participate in special events and marketing efforts.• Train directors and receptionists on conducting tours.• Maintain positive environment for residents and team members.• Promote positive image and relationships for favorable community relations.• Review community revenue and manage budget and financial statements.• Ensure meeting net operating income and revenue goals.• Implement budgets for each department and maintain spend-downs.• Supervise and control all aspects of operations and quality.• Ensure resident rights and successful implementation of policies and programs.• Monitor satisfaction and address complaints and grievances.• Lead strategic planning and create annual development plans.• Promote a safe working environment and ensure adequate supplies.• Attend required training and maintain professional status.• Recruit, hire, and coach high-quality teams.• Implement staffing model and schedule labor hours.• Provide leadership and direction to all directors.• Conduct staff meetings and ensure proper training.• Evaluate management team and approve counseling and disciplinary actions.• Ensure proper administration of compensation programs.• Maintain compliance with regulations and support Morning Pointe programs.• Approve move-ins and move-outs and prepare financial reports.• Ensure maintenance of records and investigate incidents and complaints.• Monitor resident care and maintain positive rapport with agencies.• Coordinate programs and ancillary services for resident care.• Develop activity programming and ensure training for all associates.• Collaborate with Food Service Director to meet goals for dining services.• Maintain community and grounds through preventative maintenance.• Ensure completion of work orders and participate in emergency drills.• Possess excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.• Have knowledge of customer service principles and practices.• Perform other essential duties as assigned.• Occasional travel required.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, health care administration, or relevant course of study.• Licensure required by state (if applicable).• Minimum of 2 years' supervising and management experience.• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior living environment or equivalent professional experience.
