DESCRIPTION The Amazon Alexa, Entertainment Devices and Services (AEDS) team is seeking an exceptionally talented, customer obsessed, resourceful and self-motivated Executive Assistant to support two Directors.
This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, strong organization and prioritization skills, the ability to plan ahead and to meet tight deadlines, all while juggling multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with leaders is important. A good sense of humor is a must, as is the ability to be flexible and change direction seamlessly. Change is the only constant!
The successful candidate will possess the ability to manage complex calendars while dealing with ambiguity and reacting with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround. You'll need to take effective action without having to know the total picture, and efficiently and proactively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the department or other related groups. High judgment and problem solving skills are a must.
This role is Seattle based, and will be joining the current group of stellar EAs, who are all highly collaborative, communicative, and fun.
Key job responsibilities
* Management of complex calendars and scheduling with speed, diplomacy and discretion.
* Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, All Teams meetings, on and off-sites, etc.).
* Organize and execute the Fire TV diversity group and recognition programs.
* Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items.
* Manage headcount and recruiting information for space planning purposes. Manage seating at team sites and coordinate team moves.
* Scheduling cost effective air/hotel/ground transportation. Create detailed travel itineraries (including smooth transitions between time zones). Submit expense reports in a timely fashion.
* Coordinate closely with other Executive Assistants within Fire TV and the Amazon community.
* Experience with handling confidential information and dealing with professionals inside and outside the company.

Seattle, WA, USA BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
